Float Valve – Low Water Cutoff
If the water drops too low in the pool, the float at the bottom of the skimmer cuts off the water flow through the skimmer, so that
the pump does not lose prime.
If the pool drain is plumbed to the front port in the skimmer, then the float valve will force water to be drawn from the drain only.
