Jandy Check Valves
The Jandy/Compool style check valve has a flapper and a spring. The flapper is hinged at the top and swings up and down. The seal on the flapper provides a positive seal. The unique thing about this valve is that it uses the same body as a Jandy or Compool valve. |
When water goes forward through the valve, the flapper swings up and allows the water through the valve. |
When there is no water movement or when water attempts to go backwards through the valve the flapper closes and prevents the water from going through the valve. |
